Annual photography festival the Rencontres d’Arles founded in 1970 plays an active role in photography and educational workshops all year round. Starting out as a series of encounters between photography enthusiasts, it became over the years a major cultural event.

L’Aire, petit centre d’art : restaurant and art gallery (artistic director Cyrille Putman).
