Mécènes du Sud Aix-Marseille

Created in 2003 on the initiative of eight business leaders from Marseille and Aix, Mécènes du Sud brings together two groups of economic actors who share a cultural vision for their territories (Aix-Marseille and Montpellier-Sète-Béziers). For its members, culture is a wealth that is shared and nourishes a collective feeling. They wish to encourage, through their patronage, the emergence of artistic projects in the field of contemporary art. Mécènes du Sud therefore develops actions in the direction of the artists and its territories of establishment, where it defines itself as an interface of dialogue between artistic scene and economic world.
