Art centres, sculpture parks set among the vineyards, legendary foundations, must-visit museums, artists’ residences, remarkable gardens… Plein Sud brings together more than 80 venues dedicated to the visual arts across Southern France, from Céret to Menton.

This collective initiative, launched by leading modern and contemporary art institutions along the Mediterranean coast, aims to showcase the exceptional richness of the region’s artistic offering, closely intertwined with its natural heritage and remarkable landscapes.

Each year, the Plein Sud guide, entirely self-funded by the network’s members, highlights the summer programmes (from May to September) of the region’s leading cultural venues. The guide is distributed at all member venues across the network and at the main tourist offices featured on the Plein Sud map. It is also available to download free of charge from this page.
