In residence in Digne-les-Bains, Ahram Lee presents works that engage with the history of the Digne region and its cartographic transformations. Her perspective delves into the interstices and question our Western lives. Her approach, which involves a process of translation, is an invitation to look closely at our surroundings.
A leading figure in contemporary illustration and comics, Sammy Stein continues his exploration of Alexandra David-Neel, her early anarchist and feminist writings, and her descriptions of Tibetan funeral rituals. Through his drawings and his relationship with space – whether the page, the landscape or the exhibition – Stein captures fleeting, authentic emotions.
