The Cairn foyer d’art contemporain is both an artists’ residency, an exhibition venue, and the gateway to the Haute-Provence Unesco Global Geopark, with a collection of art in the mountains visible from the hiking trails.
Ambulo, the artistic and museum centre in Digne-les-Bains - a contemporary art centre of national interest, brings together the Musée Gassendi, the Maison Alexandra David-Neel and the Cairn Foyer d'art contemporain.

Water seekers, Feda Wardak
In a spectacular installation using the symbolism of water, artist and architect Feda Wardak addresses the impact of the techno-liberal imperialism at work in his native Afghanistan.
Un pas dans l’eau, Fabien Lerat
Cette exposition personnelle de Fabien Lerat réunit sculptures, dessins et vidéo, évoquant un voyage sur les traces d’Alexandra David-Neel au Tibet, mais aussi ses expériences de rencontres non linéaires avec des hommes et des environnements. Des œuvres qui permettent d’élargir notre perception.
