Alexandra David-Neel, Lhassa, 1924 : une (é)preuve photographique
The exhibition analyses the role of images for Alexandra David-Neel, and looks at the famous image of the explorer taken in February 1924 in the capital of Tibet, then off-limits to foreigners.
Along the interlaced paths, Golnaz Payani
Golnaz Payani, a Franco-Iranian artist, is presenting textile works that she combines with the stories of two women with remarkable destinies whose centre of gravity was the Orient: Alexandra David-Neel and the Franco-Indian historian Krishnā Riboud (1926-2000).
