Les Rencontres de la photographie

Annual photography festival the Rencontres d’Arles founded in 1970 plays an active role in photography and educational workshops all year round. Starting out as a series of encounters between photography enthusiasts, it became over the years a major cultural event.

Opening week from July 4 to 10, 2022

An opening week in the whole city, day and night, photographers and curators meet the public for evening screenings, exhibitions, debates, workshops, book signings and portfolio reviews.
