Exploring more than three millennia of Andean civilisations, the exhibition presents some 250 works (ceramics, gold, textiles), archaeological artefacts and contemporary creations in which art, power and the sacred intertwine. It highlights the Andean cosmovision, a holistic approach in which everything - from nature to the gods - is interconnected and imbued with life. Light is shed on contemporary issues, ecological and memory crises, from a perspective of interdependence, reciprocity and the sacred nature of life.
With the participation of national and international museums, including Musée Larco, Museo de Arte de Lima, the British Museum and Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac.
