At the crossroads of art and science, Infinitésimal is an immersive work that plunges viewers into a reflection on quantum physics and the very nature of perception. Inspired by the work of physicist Jim Al Khalili on the role of quantum physics in the living, Mathias Bensimon questions the links between inanimate and animate matter, blurring the boundary between biology and quantum physics.
Since 2015, the artist has drawn on the work of astrophysicist David Elbaz and collaborated with physicist Maxime Jacquet at the Sorbonne, working on the movement of light. This partnership between art and science becomes a conversation between two universes, where light is explored not only as a physical phenomenon, but as a symbol of perception and connection to the world. Art and science are two ways of looking at and establishing a direct, personal link to the world.
Open Studio on Friday, December 13 from 4pm to 7pm.

Genuardi and Ruta combine a focus on color with an architectural approach to art. Their shared interest in geometry offers a singular perspective on painting and the world around it, contributing to a profound reflection on contemporary aesthetics. This peaceful residency, lasting up to two months, enables them to further their artistic exploration in a harmonious collaborative balance.
The CAB Saint-Paul-de-Vence Foundation's residency program, dedicated to national and international artists, both emerging and established, offers a privileged space for work, research and reflection on their practice, without the pressure of producing or exhibiting works. Artists such as the Italian duo Antonella Genuardi and Leonardo Ruta are part of the Foundation's mission, revisiting the traditions of minimalism and conceptual art with a contemporary approach.

Chiara Capellini paints using a process of material subtraction, in order to achieve the minimum possible and the deepest depths of vision. Remaining in near-total silence eliminates a lot of noise and allows us to contemplate the essential, without end. In her work, she's always on the lookout for a place to linger and gaze for a long time, a quantum place without end, before we say end.
