Cap Moderne, Eileen Gray et Le Corbusier

Cap Moderne is a unique complex of modern architecture overlooking the bay of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Eileen Gray’s villa E-1027, her first architectural creation designed in the 1920s, is open to the public. Property of the Conservatoire du littoral and operated by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, it also includes the bar restaurant Étoile de Mer, works by Le Corbusier such as his Cabanon, and his 5 “camping Units”, prototype of a modular leisure home.
